A highly qualified and experienced Arabic language tutor is available to help you learn Arabic. Greetings! Hello! My name is Ahmed.I am a qualified and experienced, Arabic as a foreign language, tutor. I have been teaching Arabic to non Arabic speakers for over 10 years. My private lessons are offered in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. My learners come from all over the world to improve their Arabic language and awareness of the Arab society and its culture. As the lessons are tailor-made for your particular needs, you can expect great advancement within a short period of time, and focus your study on any aspect of the language. Private Lessons During your first lesson, I will conduct an assessment of your needs, and type of lessons you want to have. Then a plan will be suggested and times will be agreed. Programs Structure: 1- Egyptian colloquial Arabic: (ECA) is the spoken language of Cairo & is widely understood throughout the Arab world. Knowledge of ECA will enable you accomplish everyday tasks; to chat with Egyptians & even allows you to exchange opinions on current affairs with native speakers. The courses also introduce you to the Arabic script & also give you the basics of Arabic language study. 2- Modern standard Arabic: (MSA) is the written Arabic language in its classical form. Used in newspapers & also widely heard on the Radio & TV. Knowledge of MSA will enable you to become well acquainted with contemporary situations in the Middle East & North Africa as well as serving introduction to the enormous wealth of classical Arabic literature. Courses System (ECA or MSA): Course Type: Private Course
3- Business Arabic: This program is intended for people who really need to learn Arabic to help make that difference in their work. For beginners, it will be useful to learn greetings and basic business etiquette at higher levels reading and then writing become more important. Typical learners include those involved in import/export, international negotiations and acquisitions, jobseekers in multinational firms where an additional language is required, and those working with international colleagues, academia and government. Even on the most basic program for Beginners, learners should expect to end the program with basic Telephone Arabic and e-mail Arabic skills for communications as well as General Arabic required for short visits to Arabic speaking countries. Courses System (Business Arabic): 4- Special Courses (Combined Courses): Special tailor - made courses are offered in both MSA& ECA, and in both MSA & Business Arabic. There are excellent facilities for individuals. The special courses are therefore either ideal for students who wish to study intensively, or for busy people who are unable to attend scheduled classes. Special courses (MSA + ECA), or (MSA + Business Arabic) Material Used I follow curriculums taught in AUC & Pen. University; or we can follow your own textbooks. Location I cover Greater Cairo including the city. The lessons are held at the place of learner/learners. Dates and Times Private lessons can be arranged to accommodate individual needs and requirements. Levels Available I teach all levels from Beginners to Advanced. Your first lesson can be used to assess what type of lessons you need to have. Types of lessons Contrary to group classes where individual needs are somehow ignored, your private lessons can be tailor-made to your specific needs and requirements. You decide what type of lesson you want to have, but I can also offer you advice if you are not sure about your needs. Your private lessons can include:

Ahmed Farrag What my clients say: ‘Having recently expanded the business into the Arab Region, especially Egypt, I wanted to improve my Arabic quickly. I contacted Mr. Farrag, the Arabic Tutor, for one on one tutoring and have been impressed with his high quality standards. Unlike 'quick fix' teachers, my instructor was determined to focus on core grammar first; this stood me in good stead as we progressed. I would certainly recommend him for those who are serious about learning Arabic.' Sattidin Attique, Turkey, Projects Controlling Manager of Avak Int'l

The lessons were well established: first out loud reading stories, so I could try to figure it out myself, then the translation, then the pronunciation. Afterwards it was good to do the exercises with grammar, vocab, structures…..etc, but in the beginning I felt we spent much time on doing all the exercises. Towards the end of the lessons, the teacher, Mr. Ahmed Farrag, skipped unnecessary exercises, if I would understand the clue and that was good. I liked the fact we made a lot of sentences with the new verbs in the beginning, so it actually helped me to practice new words in the street. Sometimes, the teacher seemed a bit disturbed by people around us, but that may be the fault of our place, where the lessons were held; in a (sometimes crowded) cafeteria at the AUC dorms. The teacher was friendly and gave compliments if you did well and that is very nice. Another good thing was that if the book said something which is not used in daily life, the teacher would inform me about that. Nadja Van der Veer, AUC graduate student, Amsterdam
